Who remembers the class of 77?

It was 1977 in Topeka,Kansas. The Sunflower 1977 yearbook committee chose well that year.
Just look at the cover. of this edition of the Sunflower. It's got Laurel
and Hardy stand along side Charlie Chaplin, and highlighted in white. Then it has the bold white lettering, Sunflower 1977.  With the  a solid black background,
the look is very sharp, classy. A job well done. In all,  Topeka High School proudly had a graduating class of  511. Each one looking as if somehow they may just be the co-stars from a TV sitcom, "That 70" Show." Looking through the book I couldn't help notice that there was one thing that stood out. Shaggy hair was everywhere!  But it wasn't just a guy thing, even the girls had their own version of  that same hair style back then. This should have come out of memory, considering that I was a graduate of the class of "77" except my high school was in Southern California. With that said, I must mention before my diminished  memory completely fails. There is another thing that is very clear.
Topeka Trojans certainly gave all plenty to cheer about that year!

Do you collect Fire King?

Fire King is a real big  hit for many collectors of vintage.  Personally I can't tell you just how many cups and  Fire king  pieces I've accumulated over the years.

Well if you do then you might recall seeing one of these Holly Hobbie plates. This particular one is adorable and very sweet. The little boy and girl are so cute, I just love his stocking hat! How simple life is we always remember these words "The time to be happy is now."
